Equity Nutrition provides individualised dietetic assessment and nutrition management for a range of health conditions and nutritional concerns.
A referral is not required to see a dietitian. If you have a referral letter, relevant test results or other medical information, please bring them to your appointment.
Dietetic Consultation
Dietetic consultations involve assessment of your health, nutritional needs, dietary intake and relevant circumstances. Recommendations and ongoing management are tailored according to the findings of the assessment.
Areas of practice include:
- Diabetes and metabolic health
- Cardiovascular health and cholesterol management
- Gastrointestinal conditions
- Liver diseases
- Weight and nutritional status
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Nutrition before and after surgery
- General nutrition concerns
Where appropriate, care may include dietary analysis, nutrition education, practical dietary strategies and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
NDIS Nutrition Services
Dietetic services are available for eligible self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
Services may include nutrition assessment, individualised nutrition strategies, mealtime and nutrition support, enteral nutrition management, and dietetic reports where clinically required.
Services are provided according to the participant's individual needs, goals and circumstances.
Professional Reports & Documentation
Dietetic assessment and documentation may be provided where clinically appropriate, including reports or correspondence requested by healthcare professionals, support providers or other relevant parties.
The scope and fee depend on the clinical assessment and the type of documentation required.
